Introducing the new Super Baitrunner XTE-A. A range of reels for anglers who demand only the best when it comes to a Baitrunner. Available in sizes from 5000 to 10000, there’s a model to suit everyone in the new XTE-A family. The XTE-A incorporates many improvements. For example, the tension setting at the high end has been increased to cope with snaggy conditions or fast flowing rivers, whilst the new shape/larger drag knob allows more finely tuned adjustment.
The Baitrunner release has also been improved to ensure a faster connection to the fish. A look inside the new reel will reveal the latest generation of gearing, oscillation and drag systems – making it the best bait runner…ever.
An easy access maintenance port ensures longevity and maintains the high performance of the XTE-A’s internal workings, whilst the addition of 2-speed oscillation line lay, working alongside Aero Wrap, makes longer more accurate casts a reality. The XTE-A is supplied with two spools, both of which are double anodised and cold forged. The new XTE-A sets a new benchmark in Baitrunner reel design. Shimano have moved the goalposts…again!
